An Education in Education (day nine)

I remember when I used to regard teachers at the same level of gods.
I respected their enormous efforts towards the betterment of the lives of others and I championed their words and causes.

I guess when teachers stop rooting for you, you stop wanting to root for them. As soon as you become just another number on a class roster and they stop caring about your efforts, you stop caring about your own efforts.

In short, I cannot change the speed at which the USPS moves its mail. I cannot believe you are threatening me with an F in a class that I worked so hard in. The thought is enough to make me sick and even more, there is nothing I can do to change it.

  1. How did this work out for you? Did the mail get through on time? Did the teacher honor your work?
